A volunteer guide to discover Paris
The principle behind this initiative is that volunteers Parisians discover their neighborhood free to tourists from different countries. They allow them to share for a few hours the life of a Parisian and think outside the box concentrated around the major tourist attractions of the capital. These volunteers are bilingual discover unusual places and often hidden from the "City of Light". They tell the story of these places, the great as the small communicate their favorite places and share their love for their city.
The aim is to give tourists the feeling of having penetrated the heart of what is called Parisian life. Volunteers know their neighborhood on the fingertips and who want to share their time and knowledge, like a friend to whom we visited. The walks often end in a lively discussion at a café terrace. They are intended for individual visitors or to a maximum of 6 people groups. Volunteers come from different backgrounds and speak a dozen languages. "Parisian day, Parisien always" / "Paris greeter," is a non-profit association. All walks are free.
